7.7 x 6 x 33 ft. Site-Specific Installation. Mixed-Media: two photographs, satin fabric, hand-made paper with human hair, text incised onto walls. This piece addresses the idea of passion in both spiritual and erotic dimensions. It is inspired by Spanish nun Teresa de Avila’s mystical experiences and the deep connection that she felt with the prostitute Mary Magdalene.
