This is the very first piece that I made after a few months in the US and it is a self-portrait. As a newly arrived international student, the word M E M O R Y cast in ice, melting throughout the day was the perfect embodiment of my feelings of loss and transformation. Ultimately, memory and identity are seen as fluids in constant change.
